CMDManas Conference

Privacy & Cookies

Last updated: July 2026

This policy explains what personal data CMDManas Conference ("we") collects, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to cmdmanas.com.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, designation, affiliation, country, mobile number and ORCID iD that you provide.
  • Submission data: abstracts, manuscripts, co-author details, and answers to conference forms.
  • Review data: reviewer recommendations, scores and comments.
  • Technical data: basic log information needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use it

We use your data to operate the Service — to manage accounts, run submissions and peer review, send notifications (such as review invitations and decisions), and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Who can see your data

Submission content is visible only to the submitting author, the conference editor(s), and reviewers assigned to that submission; reviewers do not see author identities (double-blind). Conference organisers can see and export the data for their own conference. Platform administrators can access data to operate and support the Service.

4. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in (a session cookie). It is required for the Service to function and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can clear cookies in your browser, but you will be signed out.

5. Email

We send transactional emails (e.g. review invitations, decisions, password resets). These are part of the Service and not marketing.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account and conferences are active, and as needed to comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

7. Security

We protect data with HTTPS, hashed passwords, access controls and CSRF protection. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. You can edit most details on your Profile page, or contact us for other requests.
